Job Title: Structures Design Engineer

The primary objective of this role is to ensure that all equipment in the field is operating in the most efficient and economical manner possible. This involves conducting routine audits remotely and in person, as well as developing documentation to facilitate the training of Field Technicians.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Identify and implement improvements to field operations to maximize safety, cost savings, and service efficiencies.
  2. Audit BOOM locations remotely to identify critical opportunities and schedule travel accordingly.
  3. Manage quality incidents, lead investigations, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  4. Assist with the utilization of support systems, including Water Direct, Phoenix, and Historian.
  5. Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures, PDRs, and other related work instructions.
  6. Track process changes and communicate them effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field. Associates Degree may be considered with relevant experience.
  • Strong technical and mechanical skills, with hands-on ability.
  • Proficiency with all MS Office applications and professional oral and written communication skills.
What You Need to Succeed:
  • Drive to provide best-in-class service to our partners and customers.
  • Ability to communicate effectively through electronic devices.
  • Possess a valid State Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to learn in-house operational systems.
  • Experience using hand and power tools.
  • Mechanical and situational problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to utilize basic electronic devices.
  • Organizational skills.
  • High School diploma/GED required.
