Responsibilities

A Critical Care Nurse is primarily responsible for providing high-quality patient care in an emergency setting. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing individualized patient care plans based on comprehensive assessments.
  • Administering medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Fostering open communication with patients, families, and colleagues to promote trust and understanding.
Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must possess:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
  • Valid BLS certification.
  • ACLS or PALS certification (dependent on facility requirements).
  • Minimum 1 year of critical care experience, preferably in an emergency department setting.
  • Excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
