Medical Assessment Specialist for Veterans

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assessment Specialist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
About the RoleThis is an in-person position that requires the ability to analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions. The successful candidate will work with 3-5 patients per day, performing focused physical exams and documenting findings electronically through a web portal.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct medical assessments on United States Veterans
- Analyze medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions
- Document findings electronically through a web portal
- CURRENTLY HOLD A CURRENT AND UNRESTRICTED NURSE PRACTITIONER OR PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT LICENSE
- SKILLED IN TIME MANAGEMENT AND ABLE TO STAY ON TASK
- PROFICIENTLY USE A COMPUTER
- TRAINING AND CONTINUED SUPPORT PROVIDED
- HEALTH INSURANCE OPTIONS AVAILABLE
- COMPUTER SUPPLIED
$85,000 - $110,000 per year based on experience and location (Caribou, ME),
