Part-time Mental Health Direct Care Professional

Job Summary:
The Opportunity Alliance is seeking a part-time Mental Health Direct Care Professional to join our Residential treatment teams. This role provides direct service in the residential group care or transitional living setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal support and supportive counseling to residents
- Be part of a clinical team utilizing the tasks of daily living as instrumental treatment components
- Contribute to identifying needs or emerging needs, physical and mental health wellbeing, medication administration, personal support, watchful oversight, and milieu management
- Maintain a clean and organized facility and staff office, charts, and documentation
Requirements:
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree or equivalent training in mental health preferred
- Must become certified as Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician 1 (MHRT1) within 1 year of employment
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft office preferred
- Must be able to exert moderate physical effort with occasional standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, driving, typing, and frequently lift and carry material weighing up to 25 pounds
