Pep Boys is seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team. As an Automotive Mechanic at Pep Boys, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles to ensure they are safe and roadworthy.

This is a key role in our organization, requiring a high level of technical expertise and customer service skills. You will work with customers to understand their vehicle needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair brake and hydraulic, exhaust, electrical, cooling system, suspension and alignment issues, as well as perform all maintenance services.
- Perform job duties of lower-level General Service Technicians as needed.
- Communicate complex technical information to non-mechanical individuals, including employees and customers.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies.
- Assist fellow technicians and mechanics in performing technical tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to company safety and environmental standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 6 months of experience in automotive mechanical problem-solving and repair.
- Section 609 Certification preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to lift, carry, and place merchandise and supplies up to 50 pounds.
Benefits
