About the Role

We are looking for someone who can drive innovation and excellence across all aspects of product development, from concept to launch. As the Director of Product Engineering, you will oversee the design, development, and launch of new products, including electric powertrains, battery systems, and vehicle dynamics. Your expertise in commercial EV truck engineering, development, and launch will be invaluable in helping us deliver high-quality products that meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set technical direction and vision for product development, aligning with company objectives and customer needs
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards
  • Oversee the design, development, and testing of electric powertrains, battery systems, and vehicle dynamics
  • Collaborate with suppliers and partners to ensure seamless integration and delivery of components and systems
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies
Requirements

To succeed as our Director of Product Engineering, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or computer science
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in technical leadership roles, preferably in commercial EV truck engineering and development
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality products on time and within budget
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $180,000 - $220,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
