Project Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Assistant to join our team at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. The successful candidate will be bilingual in Spanish-English and will work on behavioral and research projects in the Department of Pediatrics.
Key Responsibilities- Administer standardized programs to parents of infants and young children, providing tips on reading, playing, and interacting with children.
- Maintain databases and perform data entry, ensuring accurate and timely recording of project data.
- Provide general support with project or research tasks, including grant preparation, Institutional Review Board, literature reviews, and documentation.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of research and clinical staff to achieve project goals.
- Recruit research participants and obtain informed consent, ensuring compliance with research protocols.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year related experience in an office setting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Ability to type at a speed of at least 45 net words per minute.
- Knowledge of standard office practices and ability to use standard office equipment.
