About the Role

The Surgical Attendant plays a vital role in maintaining a clean and organized environment within the operating rooms, support spaces, and lounges. This includes completing surgical suite turnovers, setting up the suite for the next case, and restocking and making available surgery supplies and equipment.

As a member of the Surgery clinical staff, the Surgical Attendant will transport patients to and from Surgery, run errands, and provide general support as needed. This is a per diem opportunity, allowing for flexible scheduling and a great way to gain experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and organized environment within the operating rooms, support spaces, and lounges
  • Complete surgical suite turnovers and set up the suite for the next case
  • Restock and make available surgery supplies and equipment
  • Transport patients to and from Surgery
  • Run errands and provide general support as needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years combined experience in the healthcare industry
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent professional experience
