Job Title: Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist to join our team at Open Bionics. As a key member of our clinical services team, you will be responsible for delivering state-of-the-art prosthetic solutions to our customers, providing exceptional patient care, and contributing to the growth and development of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver high-quality clinical services to Open Bionics customers, adhering to our core values and mission.
* Provide training and ongoing support to Hero Arm users, empowering them to achieve their goals and enhance their quality of life.
* Educate and certify prosthetic care providers on the Hero Arm fitting process, ensuring seamless integration into our clinical workflow.
* Track performance metrics and customer feedback to inform smart decisions for growth and improvement.
* Collaborate with clinical partners to review potential users' eligibility for the Hero Arm and support trials as needed.
* Contribute to internal clinical input on product development, testing new versions or products, and creating documentation for clinicians and end-users.
* Participate in consumer or trade shows, exhibitions, and conferences, showcasing our innovative solutions and building relationships with industry professionals.

Requirements:

* Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of Orthotics and Prosthetics.
* Previous experience in delivering prosthetic solutions for persons with upper limb absence is advantageous but not necessary.
* Evidence-based practice approach to patient care, with a demonstrable understanding of Open Bionics' vision and mission.
* Proficient with methods of shape capture and rectification, with experience with 3D scanning technologies and digital rectification platforms preferred.
* Ability to outline an appropriate prosthetic prescription for those with upper limb absence and evidence of creative problem-solving.
* Excellent patient care and high motivation to give patients the best experience possible, with a focus on monitoring patient outcomes and creating successful patient outcomes defined by the patient.
