Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Speech Language Pathology Manager to join our team at Wilson County School System.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and oversight to the speech-language therapy staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to students.
  • Assess and treat students' speech and language skills, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to meet their needs.
  • Collaborate with district stakeholders to develop and implement speech-language programs that align with state standards and district guidelines.
  • Serve as a liaison between school-based speech-language pathologists and other district departments.
  • Coordinate professional learning communities for speech-language pathologists, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
  • Holds a valid Tennessee School Services Provider license, endorsement in Special Education Speech/Language K-12 (498), and meets health and physical requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities, with a focus on delivering excellent results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound judgments and recommendations.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $73,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. The Wilson County School System offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Working Conditions

This role requires working in a normal office environment, with occasional travel to schools and meetings. The ideal candidate will be able to lift or carry objects up to 50 pounds and have good manual dexterity.
