Job Summary

Penn State Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Joint Replacement team at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals, and contribute to the development of our musculoskeletal care services.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial interviews with patients, elicit detailed and accurate histories, and perform physical examinations
  • Record findings in patient medical records and present results to physicians
  • Instruct, counsel, and educate patients on their conditions and treatment plans
  • Assist with or perform independently minor procedures, such as injections, wound care, and cast and dressing changes
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and collaborate with other surgical specialties and departments
Requirements
  • Masters Degree in Nursing with clinical specialization
  • Two years' work experience as a RN
  • Current licensed to practice as a CRNP by Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners
  • BLS certification
