Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dependable Mechanical Intern to support our team in the Buildings division. As a Mechanical Intern, you will work closely with senior engineers and designers on various projects, gaining hands-on experience in mechanical design, calculations, and field work. This is an excellent opportunity for a college student to develop their skills and contribute to exciting local projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the production of CADD drawings and participate in mechanical design, including building load calculations, ductwork, and equipment layouts.
  • Perform field work, evaluating existing sites as directed by senior engineers/designers.
  • Support engineering duties on projects of varying complexity.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.

Requirements

  • Working toward a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Architectural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proficient in CADD with a basic understanding of Revit and AutoCad.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and take direction from senior engineers/designers.
