Atrium Health Charlotte is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist for a job in the heart of Charlotte, North Carolina.

About the Role

We are offering an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist. This role will involve performing radiographic examinations with minimal supervision under the direction of the Radiologist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and assist with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures;
  • Document patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician;
  • Confirm patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity;
  • Prepare and administer contrast media as required;
  • Consult with radiologist and other physicians as necessary;
  • Select and operate equipment as dictated by demands of individual procedure and demonstrate correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills;
  • Maintain appropriate records as required by departmental standards.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have successfully completed a formal Radiology Tech Program in an AMA approved facility, ARRT registration, and Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) from AHA. If a new graduate, must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date.
