AP Expert

We are seeking a skilled Accounts Payable professional to join our team as an AP Expert - Prestressed Concrete Specialist.

This role is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of accounts payable, including vendor invoices, expense reports, and payment requests. As an AP Expert, you will be working closely with internal stakeholders, such as procurement and finance teams, to validate expenses and process payments efficiently.

• Receives and reviews vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness before processing for payment.
• Handles system entry, edits, filing, mail sorting, and travel expense imports in a timely manner.
• Maintains accounts payable records by matching vouchers and invoices to checks.
• Processes voids and stop payments, electronic funds transfers, and tracks requested check copies.
• Conducts monthly and quarterly reconciliations of open purchase orders and vendor statements.
• Maintains plant invoice pending files and prepares monthly plant accruals.
• Communicates and verifies changes to vendor setups.
• Assists with weekly and monthly AP closing.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in accounting or a related field, with a strong understanding of general accounting principles. Professional, technical, or administrative training (2-year Associate Degree) is also preferred. This position offers a competitive salary range of $ $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on location and experience.
