Speech Language Pathologist

At Soliant Education, we are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in the Pelham, NH area. This full-time, on-site position for the school year offers the rewarding opportunity to provide vital speech and language services to a dedicated student population within a single school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group speech-language evaluations to identify students' communication needs specific to their developmental stage.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each child's speech and language goals, considering their unique developmental stage and learning style.
- Utilize a variety of evidence-based treatment approaches to address a range of communication disorders commonly seen in students, such as:
- Articulation difficulties
- Language delays
- Fluency issues
- Social communication challenges
- Feeding and swallowing concerns (if applicable)
- Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, specialists, administrators, and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to supporting each child's communication development in all settings.
- Monitor student progress, analyze data, and report on the effectiveness of interventions to inform ongoing therapy plans.
- Create positive and playful learning environments that foster communication skills, confidence, and social interaction in young learners.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in speech-language pathology for the school-aged population.
Requirements:
- New Hampshire State License in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP).
- Prior experience working with students with speech and language impairments in a school setting is highly preferred.
- Strong clinical skills in speech and language assessment, intervention, and program development specifically tailored for school-aged children.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students of varying ages, parents, and school staff.
- Creativity and a passion for using engaging approaches to support communication development in young learners.
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting on student progress.
- Understanding of child development as it relates to communication skills across the school-aged population.
- Passion for helping young children overcome speech and language challenges and reach their full potential.
