Career OpportunitiesWe are currently hiring for the position of Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist, responsible for preparing and operating cardiovascular imaging equipment while providing exceptional patient care in a sterile environment. This role requires certification in Radiologic Technology and advanced life support training, with opportunities for ongoing professional development.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and operate cardiovascular imaging equipment during procedures.
- Assess patient conditions and provide tailored patient care.
- Maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, contributing to their orientation and development.
- Engage in downtime activities such as stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks assigned by the Charge person or manager.
- Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology, with eligibility and/or current registration as a Registered and/or RCIS.
- Previous Procedural Area experience is preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required prior to providing patient care, with ongoing maintenance through re-training during employment.
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of $27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience.
