Design Engineer for Avionics Systems

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer to join our team, responsible for developing 3D and 2D mechanical designs and related analysis for flight-critical avionics systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing mechanical designs and related analysis for avionics systems
- Utilizing MCAD software for 3D modeling and 2D drafting
- Designing mechanical assemblies for electronics
- Experience with rapid prototype tooling
- Project management and coordination
Requirements
- 3-4 years of experience as a mechanical engineer (less if holding a master's degree)
- Knowledge of MCAD software and 3D modeling
- Experience designing mechanical assemblies for electronics
- Experience with rapid prototype tooling
- Strong communication and writing skills
Preferred Skills
- Dassault 3D and Enovia for PLM
- Catia for 3D modeling and 2D drafting
- Thermal simulation analysis using ANSYS IcePak and/or Siemens Star CCM
- Mechanical stack-up analysis
- Structural Load Analysis
