Radiology Scheduler Call Center Professional

About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, where you'll be responsible for scheduling radiology procedures, verifying patient information, and ensuring seamless communication with our care team. As a Radiology Scheduler Call Center, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain accurate and up-to-date patient information, including name, address, and insurance details
- Perform insurance verification on the date of service
- Schedule radiology procedures in an organized and efficient manner
- Knowledge of medical terminology and radiology procedures and requirements
- File and maintain medical records
- Confirm and schedule appointments
- Answer incoming and outgoing telephone calls promptly and courteously
- Perform referral documentation promptly
- Follow up with patients to ensure timely completion of procedures
- Work cohesively with fellow employees to achieve specific team goals
- Stay up-to-date on current medical requirements and adhere to HIPAA and OSHA regulations

Requirements- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years of customer service or healthcare-related experience preferred
- Intermediate level of computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Experience working with electronic health records (EHRs)
- Knowledge of radiology and medical terminology
- 1+ years of experience in a call center or medical front office setting
- Ability to work independently and maintain good judgment and accountability
- Demonstrated ability to work well with healthcare providers
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
