Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, couples, family, and group psychotherapy, utilizing independent decision-making in plan of care for therapy services provided.
  • Conduct psychological testing and assessment for designated psychiatric patients, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of results.
  • Collaborate with treating psychiatrists and make referrals to other professionals or community services as needed, promoting a comprehensive approach to patient care.
  • Participate in the training and teaching of students and residents, fostering a culture of education and growth within our organization.
  • Contribute to the development of psychological services for the Department of Psychiatry, including community outreach and education initiatives.
Requirements
  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PhD or PsyD)
  • 1 year of post-doctoral experience in a medical setting
  • South Carolina License to Practice Clinical Psychology (Lawson Code LLCP)
