Comprehensive Stroke Care Coordinator

CHI Health Saint Elizabeth is seeking a skilled Stroke Program Coordinator RN to join our team. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring high-quality stroke care, educating staff, and promoting best practices across the organization.

Responsibilities:
This position involves coordinating and maintaining certification for the Primary Stoke Center under the leadership of Administration and the Stroke Medical Director. Additionally, you will identify and follow patients with stroke during hospitalization, applying evidence-based practice to improve patient outcomes. You will also mentor staff in using evidence-based tools, facilitate neurological assessment skills, and maintain hospital-wide/system-wide communication regarding the Stroke Program.
Key Qualifications:
We are looking for an experienced nurse with a BSN or equivalent, preferably a Master's degree. A minimum of 5 years of nursing practice, with 2 years in critical care, is required. Experience in teaching and/or clinical program development is desirable. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

As a valued member of our team, you will enjoy a competitive salary, ranging from $85,000 to $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
