About the Role

Amberwell Health is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a clinic setting. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain and verify patient health history, gathering pertinent health data through physical assessments and biological samples.
  • Collect and process specimens for laboratory analysis, performing point-of-care testing as needed.
  • Provide patient care as directed by physicians or advanced practice clinicians, making skilled judgments based on patient presentation and protocols.
  • Document assessments, interventions, patient interactions, and test results in the medical record.
  • Assist healthcare professionals in performing exams, diagnostic procedures, and treatments in the clinic setting.
  • Coordinate and manage patient care, including tracking testing and referrals.
  • Stay informed of insurance requirements and guidelines for patient care, performing prior authorizations as needed.
  • Monitor patients to promote wellness and health maintenance, including preventative and chronic care.
