We are committed to recruiting talented individuals who share our passion for delivering exceptional care. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in our imaging services team.

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000-$90,000 per year, depending on experience.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing imaging procedures utilizing appropriate equipment for diagnosis and treatment planning with regards to patient care. You will demonstrate competency in skills necessary to care for patients served and perform multiple types of imaging, including fluoro and X-ray, involving emergency room patients, surgical patients, inpatients, and outpatients.

You will utilize AIDET when communicating with patients to identify service requirements, ensure correct exams are performed on the correct patient, and establish rapport with patients and others. You will instruct/communicate with patients and/or their families regarding tests to be performed and assess patients' ability to tolerate exams.

You will prepare patients or areas for IR procedures by positioning patients, adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment into specified positions, and adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors. You will protect patients and employees by adhering to safety requirements, infection-control, drug, and radiation policies, protocols, and techniques.

You will work with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal operational capabilities of equipment and maintain medical imaging records in appropriate systems according to department policies and standards for interpretation in a timely manner.

You will assist leadership in maintaining all required policies, procedures, standards, and records for applicable governmental, regulatory, and accrediting organizations by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations of OSHA, TJC, TDH, and ACR.
