Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is $25.42 - 36.86 per hour, with opportunities for additional compensation components, including evening and night shift differential, overtime, and on-call pay.

Job Description

As a Polysomnographic Specialist, you will provide comprehensive polysomnographic testing, analysis, and associated interventions under the general supervision of the Medical Director. You will participate in continuous quality improvement activities and educational experiences in support of departmental philosophy and objectives, as well as Health System initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have completion of sleep disorder testing training program and current certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or equivalent. Annual BLS is also required. Additionally, you should possess knowledge of EEG's, anatomy, and physiology, as well as the ability to establish effective working relationships and communicate clearly and calmly with patients, medical staff, and the public.
