Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to lead our projects from inception to completion.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving projects forward, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining budgets. This includes coordinating with clients, project teams, and subcontractors to provide an exceptional experience for all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination: Work closely with clients and project teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Contract Administration: Maintain up-to-date contract documents, organize, and understand their contents.
  • Scheduling: Prepare and manage project construction schedules in conjunction with Superintendents and subcontractor input.
  • Submittals: Create and maintain master submittal schedules and logs.
  • Issue Resolution: Receive, review, document, and resolve project-specific issues.
  • Quality Control and Safety: Assist Superintendents in implementing quality control and safety procedures on-site.
  • Lean Planning: Help implement lean planning and scheduling processes.
  • RFIs and RFQs: Process and review subcontractor Requests for Information and Requests for Proposal forms.
  • Equipment Start-up: Manage equipment start-up, commissioning, and owner training requirements.
  • Closure Activities: Oversee project administrative logs and close-out activities.
  • Safety Mindset: Emphasize the importance of a safety-first mindset across the project team.
  • Team Culture: Foster a culture that aligns with Tier 1's mission and values.
  • Excellence: Meet and exceed client and stakeholder expectations while demonstrating integrity.
About You

To succeed in this role, you should have a B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. We're looking for someone with extensive industry knowledge, excellent communication skills, and at least 5-7 years of experience in general contracting or MEP trades.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: At least 5-7 years in general contracting or MEP trades.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Software: Experience with MS Project, Procore, and Bluebeam is preferred.
  • Management: Previous experience managing employees is beneficial.

Estimated Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
