At Marvel Infotech, we are seeking an experienced Automotive Closures Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering design and development concepts of automotive closures systems.

About the Role

We are offering a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, for this full-time position based in Raymond, OH.

Job Description

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Designing high-volume closures assemblies and parts using CATIA V5/V6 software;
  • Collaborating with OEM design studios, design engineering, CAE, and other teams to develop door outer panels (A-Surfaces);
  • Developing latch reinforcements, intrusion beams, hinge reinforcements, and other structural panels;
  • Working with the Closures Mechanisms team to package latches systems;
  • Creating sheet metal parts, such as brackets, panels, and sashes; and
  • Designing automotive component parts in CATIA V6, including 3D designs and 2D drawings.

In addition to technical skills, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including automotive OEM design engineers.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you should have:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in automotive closures design and development;
  • Proficiency in CATIA V5/V6 software;
  • Strong knowledge of engineering design and development concepts;
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills;
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
