**Job Summary**

Penn Medicine is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead the planning and implementation of organizational effectiveness and performance improvement projects across the Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in defining project scope, building project plans, and leading project teams. This role will be responsible for ensuring task completion and issue resolution, while promoting a cooperative environment of open communication and mutual respect among team members.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Manage projects independently, applying sound judgment in resolving project challenges.

• Track requests and work with team leadership to triage and prioritize work.

• Serve as primary point of contact and team representative to the relevant client group.

• Work with stakeholders to identify potential issues or opportunities and develop data-driven work plans to address them.

• Oversee analysis consistent with the work plan.

• Work with team leadership to vet analysis and ensure analysis quality.

• Coordinate with team leadership and others, as assigned, to ensure analytics are aligned with team and system imperatives.

• Work with team leadership to build consensus around key actions arising from their analysis.

• Act as an active and visible leader within the team, including management and mentoring of less experienced analysts.

• Support maintenance and improvement of project and department-specific data, analytics, and reporting infrastructure as directed by team leadership.

• Facilitate sharing of best practices across entities, service lines, and departments.

• Perform duties in accordance with Penn Medicine and entity values, policies, and procedures.

**Requirements**

• PMP Certification (Preferred)

• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Finance, Business Administration, Management, or related field, and 5+ years of Business or Healthcare experience, including 2 years of project management experience (Required)

• Master's Degree in Healthcare, Finance, Business Administration, Management, or related field, and 5+ years of Business or Healthcare experience, including 2 years of project management experience (Preferred)
