Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Professional I to join our team at the Department of Mental Health. This role will provide therapeutic and emergency services to Child and Adolescent clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced medically necessary clinical services, including assessment, individual, family & group therapy & crisis intervention services to a targeted population of Child and Adolescent clients and their families.
  • Responsible for case management services for assigned caseload, including referrals, advocacy, interagency staffings, and coordinating care between agencies/service providers as appropriate.
  • Formulate recovery-based plans of care with person-centered goals and objectives, conduct timely reviews, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
  • Attend and participate in Treatment Team meetings/staffings, including staffing with MD at CCMHC, pursue continuing education and training, and maintain positive professional relationships with MHC staff, and community agencies, as well as clients and their families.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in guidance, counseling, or the social sciences.
  • One (1) year of experience in a clinical counseling program preferred.
