Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team at HireVenture. As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of fire alarm systems in various locations.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a valid Fire Alarm Technician license in MA and 5 years of experience in servicing and installing fire alarm systems. You will also possess strong communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work independently and follow directions with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Testing: Program, inspect, test, and adjust fire alarm systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Repairs and Adjustments: Clean, calibrate, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems to ensure timely repairs that reduce emergency service calls and minimize callbacks.
  • System Installation: Assist with the startup of new fire alarm systems, making necessary adjustments for proper functionality.
  • Safety and Cost Efficiency: Complete all work in a safe manner and within assigned cost limits, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Licensing: Must hold a valid Fire Alarm Technician license in MA and consider additional licensure in RI.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of prior experience in servicing and installing fire alarm systems.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license required.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and follow directions with minimal supervision.
    • Flexibility in working hours, including participation in an on-call rotation.

Estimated Salary

$85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
