Job Summary

The General Manager will oversee the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional service, high-quality food, and a memorable dining experience for our guests. This role requires a strong leader with excellent communication, problem-solving, and financial management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Restaurant Operations
    • Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations;
    • Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction;
    • Organize and supervise shifts;
    • Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity;
    • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations;
    • Manage restaurant's good image and suggest ways to improve it;
    • Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste;
    • Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses;
  • Leadership and Development
    • Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events;
    • Recommend ways to reach a broader audience;
    • Hire and train new and current employees;
    • Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations;
  • Financial Management
    • Manage restaurant's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control;
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability;

Requirements

  • Experience in fine dining;
  • Proven work experience in restaurant/hospitality management;
  • Proven customer service experience;
  • Extensive food and beverage knowledge;
  • Familiarity with restaurant management software;
  • Strong leadership, motivational and people skills;
  • Acute financial management skills;
  • Bachelor's degree is a plus;
  • Knowledge of wine and beef cuts is a plus;
