Triboro Center, a 405-bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility in the Bronx, seeks a Registered Nurse Unit Manager to lead our nursing team. As a seasoned RN with LTC experience, you will oversee daily operations, ensure high-quality resident care, and maintain a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Implement Nursing Policies: Create and update policies and procedures to maintain nursing guidelines.
- Lead Nursing Staff: Schedule and assign nurses and staff to ensure efficient resident care.
- Provide Resident Support: Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional support to residents and their families.
- Communicate Effectively: Share information with residents, healthcare teams, and families to ensure seamless care.
- Maintain a Safe Environment: Ensure a clean and safe working environment for staff and residents.
- Protect Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
- Document Resident Care: Accurately document resident care services.
- Manage Nursing Supplies: Maintain an adequate inventory of nursing supplies.
- Foster Collaboration: Develop and maintain positive relationships with healthcare teams.
- NYS RN License: Hold a valid New York State Registered Nurse license.
- LTC Experience: Possess previous experience in long-term care.
- Basic Computer Skills: Demonstrate basic computer skills.
- Excellent Communication: Exhibit excellent communication skills.
Compensation: $105,000-$115,000
