Job Title: Radiation Therapist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our oncology team at i4 Search Group Healthcare. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in the planning and execution of radiotherapy treatments for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Immobilize and simulate treatment fields provided by treatment planning and Radiation Oncologist instructions.
  • Perform radiation treatments to patients in accordance with the prescription and instruction of Radiation Oncologist.
  • Prepares room and provides education to patients.
  • Review and maintain patient charts and keep accurate patient records.
  • Maintain continuing education requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Training in AMA approved school of Radiation Therapy.
  • Radiologic Technologist Certification by the American Registry within acceptable date of hire.
  • Experience working as a radiation therapist a nice have.
  • Proficient in the use of medical imaging equipment.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to empathize with patients while remaining professional.
