Responsibilities
  • Provide medical care to homeless patients through street outreach and case conferences
  • Work independently to assess, manage, and follow-up on patients
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Document patient information and treatment plans
Requirements
  • Graduated from an accredited PA Program
  • CA license to practice as a Physician Assistant in California
  • National Certification as a PA
  • BLS certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • Ability to operate a computer to obtain lab results, log clinic visits, and input/retrieve data
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Physician Assistant Program
  • Knowledge of disease processes and treatments in patients with chronic disease, pediatrics, or gynecologic problems
  • Ability to communicate with patients and families in medical Spanish
