Paragon Energy Solutions is a leading provider of energy solutions. We are seeking an experienced Inside Sales Engineer to join our team.

As an Inside Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for receiving and researching client requests for quotes (RFQs). You will work closely with the outside sales team, operations, and management to provide accurate proposals to clients in a timely manner.

  • You will read and understand client RFQs to determine technical and quality requirements and client expectations.
  • You will process RFQs in accordance with procedures and develop accurate proposals for clients.
  • You will research for technical and quality requirements and contact suppliers for quotes.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field and 3-5 years of sales or customer service experience. Prior experience with quoting or working with DOD, DOE, or international clients is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Reading and understanding client RFQs
  • Developing accurate proposals for clients
  • Researching technical and quality requirements
  • Contacting suppliers for quotes
  • Maintaining all quote files and information
  • Interfacing with engineering, production, purchasing, and shipping as required

The salary range for this position is between $74,000 and $110,000 per year.
