Job Overview

The Property Operations Manager at Ascend oversees the day-to-day operations of our properties, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for residents. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that reports directly to the Property Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing maintenance requests, coordinating with vendors, and monitoring property finances. Additionally, they will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as Fair Housing and HUD guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely completion of work orders
* Collect rent, security deposits, and make bank deposits
* Verify resident income and ensure accurate re-certifications
* Manage delinquent accounts and petty cash
* Assist with monthly variance budget reports and annual budget preparation

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

* At least 5 years' experience in affordable housing or property management
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
* Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Windows applications (MSOffice: Outlook, Teams, Word & Excel)
* Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision

Benefits
