About the Role

We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Cardiology Department at Ascension Medical Group St Vincent - Anderson Heart Care. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality medical services to patients and contribute to the expansion of individualized primary healthcare services.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with physicians to diagnose and treat acute or chronic health conditions.
  • Obtain patient history, perform assessments, and order diagnostic studies.
  • Provide direct treatment and management of health conditions via referral to other healthcare providers or community resources.
  • Counsel and educate patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options, and community resources.
Requirements
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider, Physician Assistant credentialed from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or the Indiana Physician Assistant Committee.
  • Education: Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program, Master's degree preferred.
  • Work Experience: 1 year of experience preferred.
