We are seeking a skilled Travel MRI Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As an MRI Tech, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and safe imaging of patients.
About the JobThis 13-week travel assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in Arlington, Texas, and experience the thrill of working with cutting-edge medical technology. As an MRI Tech, your responsibilities will include:
- Confirming patient identification and explaining imaging procedures to ensure patient comfort and cooperation.
- Screening patients for MRI safety prior to procedure performance.
- Positioning patients for MRI scans using immobilization and protective equipment to comply with government regulations and ensure patient safety.
- Assisting radiologists with procedure performance, including starting I.V.s and administering contrast media as directed.
- Evaluating MRI scans for technical quality and collating processed images for labeling and archival purposes.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist.
- ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT National Certification with registration in magnetic resonance imaging.
- BLS certification.
- State-specific licensing when required.
