At Select Physical Therapy, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
Job Summary:We are looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant to work with our team of licensed physical therapists to provide high-quality patient care in an outpatient orthopedic setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical therapy and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:- Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
- Implement high-quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers, and facilities in accordance with the principles and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures.
- Maintain positive interactions with facilities and clients, enhancing and expanding client relations with facilities and their staff.
- A valid state license (where applicable), registration, or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant upon graduation from an approved curriculum for Physical Therapist Assistants, and having passed a national examination for Physical Therapist Assistants certified by the CAPTE.
- State license and/or certification must be valid in the state in which the individual will practice.
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
