Job Description

Leidos is seeking a skilled Radar Signature and Sensor Analyst to join our team of experts in creating innovative solutions for complex weapon and sensor systems.

We are a diverse team of engineers and scientists working on cutting-edge projects for the Department of Defense and the United States Intelligence Community.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Radar Cross Section (RCS) modeling and analysis, as well as proficiency in computational electromagnetic (CEM) predictions and/or measurements.

Additionally, the candidate should have strong technical skills in programming languages such as MatLab, Python, C/C++, or similar, and be familiar with RCS prediction tools like Xpatch, SAF, SENTRi, etc.

We are looking for a team player with excellent communication skills, who can effectively interact with individuals of different experience levels and backgrounds.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or higher from an ABET accredited university in Engineering or Physics, and at least 2+ years of applicable experience in RCS modeling or analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • RCS modeling and analysis

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with CAD tools for developing radio frequency (RF) signature models
  • Experience with Unix/Linux OS
  • RCS model development and analysis using a high-performance computing (HPC) system
