Job Summary:
The Echocardiographer Specialist will work in the Cardiovascular Department, responsible for conducting echocardiographic testing, including 2D echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms, and stress echo tests. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science degree, at least 5 years of experience in echocardiogram performance, and RCVT or RDCS registration. Echocardiograph certification and CPR certification are also required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct echocardiographic testing, including 2D echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms, and stress echo tests.
- Ensure proper and economical use of equipment, supplies, and clinical resources.
- Maintain accurate records and files.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree.
- Minimum 5 years experience performing echocardiograms in a hospital setting.
- RCVT or RDCS registration.
- Echocardiograph certification.
- CPR certification.
Salary Range: $31.67 - $52.23 per hour, commensurate with equity and experience.
