Warehouse Associate

As a Warehouse Associate at Sam's Club, you will play a critical role in maintaining and processing shipments for the Club. This involves developing and posting delivery schedules, compiling and organizing receiving reports, verifying merchandise counts, routing merchandise to proper locations, and paying expenses.
You will also be responsible for receiving merchandise for the Facility, organizing and maintaining the Receiving area, and tracking and processing claims by returning damaged goods, handling liquidation merchandise, and maintaining and cleaning the clearance area.
In addition, you will maintain the safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, conducting safety sweeps, and following proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials.
You will also be expected to comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and applying these in executing business processes and practices.
As a Warehouse Associate, you will work collaboratively with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners to complete work assignments and priorities, using policies, data, and resources to identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $24.00, and additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
Minimum Qualifications include Forklift Certification or obtaining a Forklift Certification within 30 days of job entry date, and being 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications include a primary location in Raleigh, NC, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
