Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Per Diem Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at Concentra. As a key member of our patient care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive nursing care plans in accordance with state laws and Concentra medical protocols.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, and observe and evaluate patient responses.
- Evaluate patient outcomes and make adjustments to care plans as needed.
- Perform physical examinations and preventive health measures, and provide education to patients on healthy lifestyle choices.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Prescribe or recommend medications and other treatments as needed.
- Arrange referrals and consultations with other specialists as necessary.
- Conduct urine drug screens and ensure proper preparation for laboratory pick-up.
- Assist in medical record maintenance and safeguard patient confidentiality.
- Dispense medications as directed by practitioner and in accordance with state regulations.
- Maintain and operate clinical equipment, including calibration and record keeping.
- Perform ancillary testing and tasks as ordered by the Center Medical Director.
- Provide exceptional customer service and exceed patient expectations.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in completing tasks and documentation.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing or related health field from an accredited college or university.
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Current licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state where employed and in accordance with state laws of practice.
- At least two years of demonstrated experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or emergency setting.

- Ability to make decisions or solve problems using logic and propose quality solutions.
- Outstanding customer service skills and ability to deal with people in a tactful and professional manner.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in accordance with federal and state laws and company policies.
- Demonstrated knowledge of occupational medicine requirements and clinical operations.
