At JBS USA Holdings, Inc., we are seeking an exceptional Maintenance Manager I to lead our maintenance activities and drive operational excellence. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing all maintenance activities, ensuring the efficient operation of facilities and equipment, and overseeing the care of grounds and support equipment.

About the Role
As a Maintenance Manager I, your primary responsibilities will include:
• Developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs in collaboration with engineering and maintenance staff;
• Collaborating with management, engineering, and quality control personnel to resolve maintenance issues and recommend improvements;
• Directing training and indoctrination of workers to enhance work performance and familiarize them with company policies and procedures;
• Ensuring maximum efficiency of facilities and equipment, as well as the upkeep of grounds and support equipment;
• Planning, developing, and implementing new methods and procedures to improve operations, reduce costs, and optimize labor and material utilization;
• Coordinating activities related to fabricating or modifying machines, tools, or equipment to manufacture new products or enhance existing ones;
• Reviewing job orders to determine work priorities;
• Scheduling repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous production operations;
• Inspecting operating machines and equipment to verify compliance with operational standards;

Requirements
We are looking for candidates with a high school diploma/GED and typically 5 years of maintenance experience. An Associate's Degree or completion of a Vocational/Technical specialty certification/licensure program in a related field is desired. Additionally, we require a minimum of 5 years of maintenance management experience, with experience in an animal slaughter facility being an asset.

Salary
