School Psychologist Position for Academic Excellence

We are seeking an experienced School Psychologist to join our team at Soliant.
Salary and BenefitsThe successful candidate will receive a competitive compensation package, including a salary of $43-$50 per hour, medical, dental, vision, life, and disability plans, as well as a 401k with employer match. Tax-free stipends may also be available.
Job DescriptionThis is a full-time position with a caseload covering K-12th grade students in an itinerant setting. The ideal candidate will have a Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology, a valid license or certification, and expertise in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results. They will also possess sound knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and procedures, as well as strong organizational skills.
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive abilities, academic skills, social-emotional functioning, and developmental levels.
- Interpret assessment results and provide insights to inform instructional planning, intervention strategies, and individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other educational professionals to develop and implement effective interventions and behavior management strategies.
- Provide counseling and support services to students individually or in group settings, addressing a wide range of social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
- Consult with parents, guardians, and external stakeholders to foster effective partnerships and support students' overall well-being and academic success.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including 504 meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and contribute expertise in addressing students' needs and goal-setting.
Responsibilities include staying current with research, best practices, and legal requirements related to school psychology and special education.
QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have:
- A Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- A valid license or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Proficient in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting assessment results.
- Sound knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and procedures.
- Strong understanding of various behavioral intervention strategies and positive behavior support systems.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
