Radiology Technologist Level II Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist Level II to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of standard radiographic procedures in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for radiographic procedures by accurately assessing their needs and providing patient education.
  • Perform radiographic and/or fluoroscopic procedures, ensuring accurate and timely completion of scheduled and unscheduled work to maximize productivity.
  • Operate computer and radiographic equipment for image production and documentation of images.
  • Enter and properly complete all patient information, including exam charges and supplies, into the Radiology Information System (RIS) and/or other KP application.
  • Prepare films for interpretation by the radiologist in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare providers to ensure quality, continuity, and appropriateness of care.
Requirements:
  • One (1) year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • Radiologic Technologist Certification.
  • General knowledge of EH&S, OSHA, DHR, Radiation Safety and Protection.
