System Administrator Opportunity

ApplyLogic Consulting Group is seeking a skilled System Administrator to join our team in Columbia, SC. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for administering and maintaining our Windows Active Directory environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and maintain file and print servers, domain controllers, application servers, and media storage systems.
  • Provide primary administration and support for Windows Active Directory systems.
  • Manage hardware installations, cabling support, equipment relocations, and power source support.
  • Perform system updates, OS configurations, and problem resolution.
  • Execute routine updates and support for desktop and laptop images using enterprise deployment techniques.
  • Monitor and apply OS and security patches; support software patch updates via tools such as BigFix and Microsoft SCCM.
  • Manage printer and multifunction printer systems.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise standards and support system upgrades and changes.
  • Oversee backup, restore, and recovery procedures for steady-state systems.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in computer science or related field; OR
  • Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) IT Infrastructure certification; OR
  • 2 years IT Help Desk support experience in a Windows Active Directory environment; OR
  • 2 years' experience in Computer/IT operations/support in a Windows Active Directory environment
