Job Description
The Visual Merchandising Lead is responsible for leading the visual efforts in our store, conveying our brand clearly to our customers. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the store team to achieve sales goals while maintaining a high level of visual presentation.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead daily product maintenance routines in the store, ensuring consistent and high-quality visual displays.
- Direct and execute campaign setups in support of marketing initiatives and product presentations according to department direction.
- Execute new product introductions from a visual presentation perspective, ensuring timely placement as directed.
- Oversee the P.A.C.E program for processing merchandise, including receiving, processing, and merchandising, following established guidelines.
- Partner with Operations Manager and Inventory Specialists to maintain and educate staff on stockroom organization.
- Train all staff members on routine maintenance, merchandising guidelines, and merchandise processing best practices.
- Ensure visual presentation in the store reflects our brand, including straightening, down-stocking, signage accuracy, prop samples, and dusting/cleaning.
- Maintain daily communication with specialists working in the store, staying informed and involved in all areas of visual presentation.
- Actively work to improve product knowledge and share information with customers and the store team.
- Provide regular feedback to the General Manager and Store Managers on training, follow-up, and coaching opportunities during daily touch-base meetings.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of inventory accuracy and actively support it.
- Check email at least twice per shift and ensure staff adheres to timely communication protocols.
- Drive initiatives, motivate, and inspire enthusiastic and productive behavior, aiming to provide exceptional customer service and meet or exceed company goals.
- Engage with customers to solve organizational challenges and collaborate with the store team to achieve sales goals.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A college degree preferred.
- 2-5 years of merchandising experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills.
- An understanding of retail's ever-changing nature and flexibility in scheduling.
- Be at least 18 years old.

Compensation
We estimate an annual salary of $65,000 - $80,000 based on location and experience. This includes competitive hourly wages, bonuses, and incentives tied to individual and team performance.
