Civil 3D CAD Technician

Randstad is seeking a skilled Civil 3D CAD Technician to join their team in Elkhart, IN. This position involves working collaboratively with engineers and designers on private land development projects.

Job Overview:
  • The ideal candidate will have at least one year of relevant experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D and possess strong computer and technical skills.
  • This role requires proficiency in technical math, with Geometry and Trigonometry being a plus.

The successful candidate will support office and field staff by processing incoming information and producing final project deliverables.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $62,300 per year, based on the location and requirements.

Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Processing incoming field data utilizing SAM standards
  • Evaluating the accuracy and sufficiency of data
  • Maintaining clear and effective communication with field and office staff to facilitate project completion

The selected candidate will also be responsible for monitoring production and quality assurance of field crews, conducting initial quality control of field deliverables, and ensuring compliance with industry principles under the direction of their supervisor.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Strong computer and technical skills
  • Proficiency in technical math

Please note that the essential functions of this role include working in a smoke-free environment and working in a non-temperature-controlled environment.
