Job Description

Wayne Fueling Systems is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer to join our team in Austin, TX. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing test plans, hardware, and software for new electronic products and improvements to existing products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop test plans, designs, and implements hardware and software for new electronic products and improvements to existing products.
  • Provide production support for technical issues with test, product configuration, and hardware.
  • Collect and analyze data to support process and product improvements.
  • Work with product engineering to develop test specifications.
  • Integrate new designs and improvements into the production process.
  • Improve production and test processes based on quality, cost, delivery, and safety applying automation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (electrical, computer science, or related) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing assembly process.
  • Programming experience with National Instruments hardware and software tools.
  • Electronic and mechanical CAD designing skills.
  • Electronic and mechanical assembly and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience in communicating technical issues verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to provide manufacturing process improvement and problem resolution support.
  • Proven project management skills and the ability to track and meet targets.
