Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team on a travel assignment. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with individuals to help them participate in daily activities and improve their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical, cognitive, emotional, and environmental factors that may affect their ability to perform daily activities.
  • Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Create individualized treatment plans to address specific challenges and goals, including exercises, activities, and adaptations to enhance independence and function.
  • Client Education and Support: Educate clients and their families about their condition, treatment strategies, and ways to manage daily activities more effectively.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, physical therapists, speech therapists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care.
  • Workplace Ergonomics and Mental Health Support: Assess and modify work environments to promote safety and productivity for employees, and provide mental health support to individuals experiencing challenges.
Requirements
  • Valid Occupational Therapy Certification: Must be certified in the state of practice.
  • Experience: 1 year of recent Occupational Therapy experience in a rehab setting.
  • Certifications: BLS Certification.
