Job Summary

Surgical Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Surgical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operating room team, you will provide surgical support and equipment for minimally invasive surgeries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in daily OR operations, including pre-operative setup, intra-operative support, and post-operative turnover.
  • Identify and troubleshoot damaged or worn instrumentation and equipment.
  • Provide support in SPD, including decontamination, assembly, and unloading case carts.
  • Understand procedures being performed and provide excellent service to staff.
  • Regularly attend work and be punctual and dependable.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as turning, bending, squatting, kneeling, reaching, pulling, and standing for prolonged periods.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • CRCST certification (provisional acceptable) is preferred.
  • Previous customer service experience and ability to build strong rapport with hospital teams.
  • Previous OR/Sterile Processing experience preferred.
  • Ability to anticipate needs of others.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Availability for 24/7 hospital coverage, including weekday, weekend, and holiday rotational scheduled and on-call shifts.
  • Covid-19 vaccination required, dependent on hospital location.
